Hi everyone,
Finished reading the book and got so totally blown away by the stark differences between it and the movie. Hayao Miyazaki sure knows how to modify the whole plot big time!
That said, I really enjoyed reading the book, though some of the contents still baffle me. I'll read it a second time before crystalling all my questions into a single post. Right now everything's still a whirl inside my head.
Read a couple of fanfiction posted by fellow friends here and thought I would try my hand at it as well. This is my first time posting a fanfiction. The original length is rather l-o-n-g and I was afraid people may get put off by the length, so I decided to post by installments. By the way, I took 6 hours to plan everything and type everything. If the response is good, then I'll continue. If not, I'll get the idea, and spare you all the agony, keep everything to myself then :-) hahah :-)
I didn't really like the ending in the book. It seemed kinda incomplete and a little abrupt (to me, that is) So my fanfict will continue from where the book ends. Mine would be Chapter 22. Kindly read Chapter 21 to refresh a bit before continuing with my Chapter 22, I think the flow of the plot would make a 'leeeetle' more sense. But if you wanna dive into Chapter 22 then by all means! You're most welcomed!
First installment isn't PG rated but -- "We will get there as the story progresses"
